We are pleased to announce that Christoph Oldenburg has joined Youngest Media as the first Executive Producer in their newly-formed German arm. Christoph has successfully worked as both an Executive Producer and Commissioner for over 20 years, invaluable experience and expertise for Youngest as they continue to grow.
Youngest, founded and directed by two ex-Endemol Shine Executives, David Flynn and Lucas Church, is a fast-growing and dynamic UK Production Company focusing on television and digital video. Christoph’s hire is part of their international expansion, the first since their founding in 2016, into Germany. The business has already delivered rating-winners including Small Fortune and Game of Clones – the latter has been adapted to five other territories, including for MTV (US), NRJ (France) and RTL2 (Germany).
Christoph joins Youngest following 4 successful years freelancing across Europe, including acting as a Production Consultant for the RTL Group in Croatia. Prior to this he served as Executive Producer and Head of Programs for Blue Eyes Film & Television in Germany. In addition, he has served in senior level roles at both RTL Hrvatska D.O.O. and UFA Entertainment.
Having joined Youngest, his first project will be overseeing the production, alongside David Flynn, for Battle of the Bands (working title), for German commercial station RTL II. Beyond this Christoph will be working on multiple projects and will provide editorial flair, innovation and strong, visible leadership to everyone working on Youngest’s shows.
From Lumina, we want to send Christoph our best wishes and good luck in the new role.
