We at Lumina are delighted to announce the appointment of Ed Humphrey as Chief Executive Officer of Marquee TV.
As Chief Executive Officer, Ed will be responsible for setting the overall vision and the management of the resources’ operations of Marquee TV.
Humphrey will develop the strategies for the company and communicate these to both an internal and external audience.
Ed has over two decades of film and TV experience with a focus on digital innovation.
Previously, Ed was most notably the Director of Digital & Ventures for the British Film Institute (BFI).
Here, he led the BFI’s digital response to audiences: strategy, products, editorial and video. This encompassed a range of interrelated goals and activities.
This included audience engagement, digital product development and monetisation, entrepreneurship and business development, industry partner management and international commercial planning.
Marquee TV is the leading performing arts streaming and companion site, offering its subscribers world-class performing arts from renowned organizations including the London Symphony Orchestra, The Washington Ballet and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Ed said I’ve always believed that speciality services can add something unique and meaningful to the streaming landscape – world-class content, expert curation and deep understanding of a passionate audience. Marquee TV does all this and more in the performing arts and culture space, and I’m very excited to join the team in the next phase of our growth.
