We’re pleased to announce Jack Wilson has been hired by Flutter Entertainment as Head of Content & Channels. Wilson joins the business from Reach plc, where he served as Head of Digital Sport for the Daily Express and Daily Star newspapers.
Flutter Entertainment is a FTSE 100 business with a £1.9b turnover from a range of its consumer gaming brands. The group has expanded internationally in the past few years with major acquisitions in both Australia (Sportsbet), US (FanDuel), and its extensive presence throughout Europe with its Paddy Power brand and online Betfair platform.
He has joined Flutter’s Paddy Power business this week following two successful years at the Daily Express. He is also a highly skilled marketer, SEO expert and online content strategist.
Prior to his Head of Digital Sport role with Reach, he worked as the Express’ Online Sport News Editor and started his career as a Sports Reporter. On top of this he has published a variety of books, including Mind the Windows and is regularly a Guest Lecturer at the University of Brighton.
Having joined Paddy Power, he will be an integral part of their marketing division, managing a team of 14 content creators, writers and specialists. He’ll have overall oversight of their content strategy and explore new content initiatives to boost their marketing efforts across all channels.
At Lumina, we wish Jack all best wishes and good luck in his exciting new role.
