Lumina has continued our close relationship with Keshet International, a rapidly growing global TV production and distribution company, by placing Rebecca Edwards as their Director of Communications. She joined their London office in April, reporting into VP Marketing and Communications, Limor Gott Ronen.
In her new role, she will be responsible for all corporate and consumer communications with key stakeholders. Over her 20-year career, Edwards has worked in both marketing and communications for several high-profile broadcasters, including NBCUniversal and UKTV. She joined the latter in 2004 and devised major PR campaigns for the broadcaster’s major channels including Dave, Gold and Yesterday. Furthermore, Edwards was involved in the launch of PBS’s first international channel, developing crucial partnerships and overseeing the high-profile launch for the channel.
Keshet International holds a strong library of content across drama, factual and children’s entertainment that performs well across multiple territories. Its Prisoners of War drama inspired the Emmy-winner Homeland series, and its London-based indie, Keshet Productions UK, has developed and co-produced two seasons of critically-acclaimed The A Word for BBC One, amongst others. It has also acquired Greenbird Media earlier this year and announced a substantial £40m fund for new high-end drama productions. The business is part of the wider Keshet Media Group, which operates Israel’s most watched commercial channel, Keshet 12. Click here to view Keshet International’s catalogue.
We would like to congratulate Rebecca Edwards on joining Keshet International and wish her luck in her new position.
